MANCEPT Workshops 2016

The MANCEPT Workshops in Political Theory 2016 is an annual conference in political theory, organised under the auspices of the Manchester Centre for Political Theory. This year’s conference will be the thirteenth event in the series and will take place on Wednesday 7th September until Friday 9th September at the Arthur Lewis Building, University of Manchester. Over the last twelve years, participants from over twenty five countries have come together in a series of workshops focussing on political theory/philosophy widely construed. Last year the workshops had more than 250 delegates attending, and the conference is now established as a leading international forum dedicated to the discussion of research in political theory.

We are delighted to announce that we have accepted 30 panels this year. Please find details of the subject of each panel on the relevant pages (A-E) (F-P) (R-Z).

Registration for the workshops is now open and all participants (convenors and paper-givers alike) must register in order to attend. The cost of registration is the same as last year (£220 for academics and £130 for graduate students/retirees).Registration can be completed here.

We have 30 full bursaries available. Anyone who is not currently in full-time employment may apply and the bursary will cover the full cost of registration.
