Piccadilly station to Oxford Road
The Oxford Road Link bus (no 147) runs from Piccadilly Rail Station across the campus stopping at 14 locations and finishing at Grafton Street. This service runs on weekdays between 7.15am and 6.45pm, at 10-minute intervals, and can be caught from the Fairfield Street entrance to Piccadilly Station. A taxi from Piccadilly Station to the Oxford Road area of the campus will cost you about £5.
Victoria station to Oxford Road
To get to the Oxford Road area of the campus, buses 191 and 197 run from Victoria station (from Corporation Street, outside the Co-operative Bank).
Oxford Road station to Oxford Road campus
To get to the Oxford Road area of the campus, go down the station approach to Oxford Road and turn right. The campus is a ten to fifteen minute walk. Alternatively, buses stop outside the Palace Hotel.
Bus and Coach
National Express coaches serve over 1,200 destinations across the UK from the Chorlton Street Coach Station near Piccadilly Station, 08705 808080.
To get to the Oxford Road campus turn right out of Chorlton Street Coach Station onto Chorlton Street, and walk to the junction with Whitworth Street, from here catch the 147 Oxford Road link bus.

Bus and Tram
There are local bus services running throughout the Greater Manchester area, together with the Metrolink tram service.
Services to the Oxford Road area of the campus include:

Both the multi-storey car park on Booth Street West and the Manchester Aquatics Centre multi-storey car park on Booth Street East offer public pay and display parking and are convenient and safe.
Manchester Airport, a large and busy international airport, is about 10 miles (16km) south of the city centre, about 30 minutes from the university.
The airport has a number of transport links to the city:
- Train – The airport’s two terminals are linked directly to the city centre by a fast, frequent 24 hour train link to central Manchester, to both Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations.
- Taxi – A taxi from the airport will cost approximately £15.
- Bus – Local buses also run to the Oxford Road and Sackville Street areas of the campus.
